Manago Hotel, for a back in time experience, old Hawaii (2 miles north Hwy 11) lunch til 11-3, dinners 5 til 8pm in the dining hall.

Amy Greenwell Botanical gardens and tour, directly across from Manago Hotel (north of shacks 2 miles).

South Kona Farmers Green Market is on Sundays at Amy Greenwell Botanical Garden parking lot (2 miles north off Hwy 11)

Kealakekua Bay (7 miles by car south then west)

Pu’uhonua O’Honaunau National Historic Park (City of Refuge)

Ho’okena Beach Remote beach (20 minutes south on Hwy 11)

Keauhou Bay (12 miles north on Hwy to Kam III Rd.) turn left at light travel 2 miles past shopping center and Sam Choy’s, to bottom of road in residential cul-du-sac, and small harbor.

Volcano National Park (1.5 hours south)

Hilo town (2 hours Hwy 11 south) or north to Palani Rd, then upper Mamalahoa Hwy 19 to Saddle Rd.
